We came, We saw, We CONQUERED!

I've just returned from an incredible adventure with ANCHOR staff & members, where I had the pleasure of exploring Shenandoah National Park. The mission? To conquer the renowned Old Rag Trail. People from all over flock to this park for the challenge, and having completed this thrilling hike on our quick trip to Shenandoah, I can wholeheartedly vouch for its awesomeness. In fact, it easily ranks as one of the most enjoyable trails I've ever had the pleasure of trekking.

It's not just about the magnificent views you encounter along the way (though definitely can't complain about those either); it's the trail itself, leading to the summit of Old Rag, that provides an exhilarating and demanding rock-scrambling experience. As you journey upwards, you'll find yourself navigating a maze of countless rocks, squeezing through narrow passageways, descending from towering boulders, and ascending gentle rock faces. All the while, you'll be treated to some of the most breathtaking vistas overlooking Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

With Old Rag, the beauty of this hike isn't confined to the summit views alone; it's interwoven into every step of the journey. The trail is a testament to the incredible adventure that awaits, and it's an experience we'll cherish forever. Everyone did a fantastic job, got a bit of sweat in and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors together!

So, where should we go to next?
